Trinity I – Betrayel

Trinity I – Betrayel

A young village scribe must leave his life and love behind to become an apprentice for the royals. It puts him on a pathway of secrets, betrayals and the shocking revelation of his destiny to use the Trinity against the threat coming against Tallinor in the shape of the vengeful Orlac. But the Trinity remains a mystery.

“leaving the reader with a fantasy debut as good as Sara Douglass’, if not better.” - Phillip Knowles, Good Reading

“The shocking ending of book one leaves the reader anxiously waiting to know more … Strong and interesting characters and a story which keeps the reader guessing, Betrayal is an enjoyable and fast paced read, full of magic and destruction – who could ask for more.” - Nan Berrett, The Northern Argus

Is the Trinity series available in the US? Love to collect all your books. thanks.

    • Fiona says:

      Hi Michelle

So sorry that this is the one series not currently available in the US. I think it’s because it is my first series and America only got to know me via my second, The Quickening. However, we’re working on it, I promise. I would love for American readers to have access to this series that it is in print worldwide and in various translations. It’s arguably my most ‘magical’ of stories pitching gods against gods and gods against mortals. all good fun!

Thanks for being so loyal. I promise you’ll hear the squeal of joy all the way from Australia if we can get a contract organised in the US for Trinity. But for now it’s out of Australia or UK for English language.

All best and thanks for stopping by. F

Wow…thanks! Now there’s only another two more books in that series to go and another 10 big fantasies sprawling ahead of you…. Happy reading, Steven and sincere thanks for giving a new writer a go in your reading life. F

    • Fiona says:

      HI Steven

I’m so glad you began with my first book. There are now a dozen other big fantasy novels stretching before you bearing my name. Most belong to series so they come in neat trilogies. Thank you for trying my work. Keep enjoying!

  9. Ryan says:

I first read this series back in 2004 and fell in love with the characters and compelling world you had created. I have just started reading them again and that spark is still there and the characters are just as clear in my head as before. Thank you so much for giving me such a fantastic reading experience. I’m sure I’ll read them several more times.

    • Fiona says:

      Hi Ryan

This was such a lovely message to read, thank you! I am always amazed by the realisation that the first book I ever wrote is still such a favourite with readers. I think I packed everything into it because I probably didn’t think I’d ever get another chance! It was terrific fun with such a huge cast. Perhaps I should read it again sometime. I’m sure I’ve forgotten all the twists and turns to that epic story. Thanks Ryan – really kind of you to drop by and let me know. I will leave my desk smiling tonight because of you. F
